Jupally Inaugurates Tourist Information Centre at RGI Airport

Hyderabad: Minister for Tourism Jupally Krishna Rao inaugurated the Telangana Tourism Information Center at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad on Thursday.

Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that as part of the reforms being undertaken by the Tourism department, they were moving forward with the aim of providing better services to tourists.

He said the Tourism Information Center has been set up to provide information on tourist destinations, including green hotels, tour packages, reservations and route maps in Telangana for domestic and foreign visitors, who come to visit the State's famous heritage sites, rich cultural diversity, and stunning natural scenery.

The information centre will be open to visitors from 6AM to 10PM. The Tourism Corporation is already operating information and reservation centers at Basheerbagh, Begumpet Tourism Plaza, Kukatpally, Secunderabad Yatri Niwas, Shilparamam and Telangana Bhavan in Delhi.

The Minister further stated that the State Tourism Corporation would launch more innovations in the days to come, aimed at attracting domestic and international tourists.
